Solar that stores the sun.
Battery that beats the peak.

Custom solar for your Bay Area roof
The Bay Area averages about 5 peak sun hours a day, foggier on the coast and sunnier in the South Bay and inland East Bay. Your solar covers daytime power, charges the Duracell battery with the surplus, and stores it for when the grid gets expensive.
Battery backup, PSPS ready
Stored energy stays in your Duracell battery for the 4–9 PM peak and the next time the grid stumbles. PG&E runs the state's most extensive PSPS wildfire shutoffs, and CAISO calls heat-wave Flex Alerts, so you stay running.
~19¢/kWh blended, included
PG&E rates average roughly 39¢/kWh, among the highest in the country, and keep climbing, with even pricier evening peaks and a new ~$24/mo fixed charge. Your Duracell battery shifts cheap daytime solar into the peak window, bringing your blended energy rate down to about 19¢/kWh.

Why it works in the Bay Area
PG&E rates keep climbing.
NEM 3.0 killed solar-only.
Bay Area homes on PG&E pay roughly 39¢/kWh on average, among the highest rates in the country, plus a new ~$24/month fixed charge that started in March 2026, and the trend has been up, not down, with the priciest hours landing in the 4–9 PM evening peak. Under NEM 3.0, the solar you export back to the grid earns only pennies, so a solar-only system barely saves anymore.
The fix is storage. Pair custom solar with a Duracell battery sized between 20 and 45 kWh, and your home self-consumes its own daytime sun during the expensive peak instead of buying it back from PG&E. That brings your blended energy rate to about 19¢/kWh, and adds backup for when the grid does not.

Wildfire and PSPS resilience
The grid turns off,
the lights stay on.
PG&E runs the state's most extensive Public Safety Power Shutoffs, cutting power across Northern California for fire safety, sometimes for hours, sometimes for days. And Bay Area electricity is the most expensive in California, so when the power is on you are paying top dollar for it.
A SOLRITE home rides through it. When the grid drops, your Duracell battery takes over in a few seconds, and during daytime outages your solar keeps recharging it. No generator, no gas runs, no scramble. Just power that stays on, plus shelter from PG&E's rate hikes the rest of the year.
