The SOLRITE Promise
Everything covered.
For 25 years.
Most home-energy warranties are written to protect the company, not the homeowner. Ours is the opposite. One agreement and one phone number for the entire 25-year term.
What's covered is the system SOLRITE owns. On a Solar VPA that's the panels and the battery. On a Battery VPA for a home that already has solar, that's the battery. SOLRITE does not take over the warranty on solar you already own.
$0 surprise bills.
Equipment, install, monitoring, repairs, replacements, all included for the agreement term. No call-out invoices, no parts charges, no service fees. Ever. This covers the system SOLRITE owns. If you already had solar before SOLRITE, those panels and that inverter stay under their original warranties, see below.
Equipment-grade hardware.
sonnen and Duracell batteries, UL-listed components, NEMA 3R / IP65 enclosures throughout. We don't substitute on hardware to chase margins, the system you're quoted is the system that gets installed.
25-year fully-managed agreement.
SOLRITE owns the system for the term. Lithium batteries typically last around 10 years, if yours fails inside the agreement, we replace it at no cost. That's the entire point of not buying the hardware.
Roof + structural protection.
10-year workmanship warranty on every roof penetration. All permits pulled by your SOLRITE-certified installer. All AHJ inspections coordinated for you. If a flashing leaks, that's our problem to solve, not yours to chase down.
24/7 monitoring + local crews.
The sonnen App and Duracell monitoring run around the clock, we usually see a fault before you do. Service calls are handled by SOLRITE-employed install crews, not subcontractors chasing tickets.
Production guarantee.
If a system SOLRITE installed ever produces less than we projected, our production guarantee has you covered. You get the output you were promised, or we make up the difference. This applies to solar SOLRITE installs, not to panels you already owned before signing.
What this means in practice
Real situations. Same answer.
A battery fails in year 7.
We replace it. No parts bill, no labor charge, no negotiation with a manufacturer warranty desk. We own the equipment, so the replacement risk sits with us.
A SOLRITE-installed panel breaks in a hailstorm.
SOLRITE handles the panel replacement under our equipment coverage. Your homeowner's insurance covers the roof itself; we handle everything we mounted to it.
A SOLRITE-installed inverter needs to be swapped.
Our crew rolls a truck, brings the replacement unit, and swaps it. You're not waiting on RMAs, shipping tickets, or third-party installers to get back online.
You already had solar before SOLRITE.
Then we cover the battery system we install, and your existing panels and inverter stay under the warranties you already have. SOLRITE does not take over, assume, or replace the warranty on solar you already own. That's stated in the Battery Lease Agreement, not just implied: we assume no liability or duty of care for a pre-existing PV system.
Your pre-existing panels stop producing.
That repair belongs to your original manufacturer and installer. We have no obligation to monitor, maintain, or troubleshoot solar we didn't install, and if lost production raises your utility bill, that shortfall isn't covered either. Your battery keeps working on grid charging in the meantime. Call us anyway, we'll tell you straight what we can and can't do.
You sell your house.
The agreement transfers cleanly with the home. We work directly with the buyer's lender on the assignment, most buyers see the system as a positive, since they get the package without doing the install.
