A neighborhood rebuilding, one house at a time
The Cottonwood Fire came through Beaver County in June 2026 and took a large part of the Eagle Point community with it. Some houses burned. Others are standing, but on a mountain where power service has not been fully rebuilt and the resort has called off its winter season.
SOLRITE's founder owns a home in Aspen Crest, so this is his neighborhood too. That is how this started: neighbors asking what it would take to keep a house running through the winter, and whether solar and a battery could do it.
Homeowners along Summit Drive, Upper Meadows, and Aspen Crest have already asked us for designs. We are working through them one at a time, with a site visit on each property, because a system designed at 10,000 feet is not the same as one designed in a valley.
What we design for an Eagle Point home
Battery backup, sized from your usage
The battery carries your backup circuits during an outage. We size it from your real loads and tell you plainly what it will and will not run.
Your generator stays in the plan
If you already run a generator at the cabin, we coordinate it with the battery through a licensed electrician and a proper transfer switch.
Roof and structure checked first
Every property gets a site visit. We look at pitch, structure, and snow load, and we will tell you if your roof is not a good candidate.
We handle the paperwork
Permits, inspections, and the utility interconnection paperwork with Rocky Mountain Power are ours to manage, not yours.
Designed around your rebuild
If your home is being rebuilt or reroofed, we plan the array, conduit, and battery location while the work is open.
Maintained for the full term
We monitor the system remotely and cover service and repairs for the life of the agreement at no cost to you.
