Solar that lowers your bill.
Battery that keeps it yours.

Custom solar for your Peoria roof

Peoria averages about 4 peak sun hours a day, and panels run more efficiently in cold central-Illinois temperatures. Your solar covers daytime power, charges the Duracell battery with the surplus, and starts lowering your bill the day it is energized.

Battery captures the rest

Illinois ended 1:1 net metering for new solar customers in 2025. Exporting power is no longer worth what it used to be. The 60 kWh Duracell battery captures excess solar instead of exporting it, so every kWh you self-consume avoids the full retail rate.

Flat 12¢/kWh solar rate

Your solar generation is locked at a flat 12¢/kWh under the Solar + Battery VPA, while Ameren's supply rate keeps moving. The savings come from your battery's grid participation, not your wallet.

Why it works in Peoria

Ameren supply rates spiked in 2025.
Yours don't have to.

In 2025 a MISO capacity auction pushed Ameren's supply rate from around 8¢ to about 12¢/kWh, roughly an 18 to 22% jump in the total bill, about $45 more per month in the summer. And the trend has been up, not down.

Your SOLRITE solar rate is locked at a flat 12¢/kWh, predictable while Ameren's supply rate is not. Pair that with a 60 kWh Duracell battery that stores your solar for evening use instead of exporting it for pennies, and you get a lower, more predictable bill plus power that stays on when the grid does not.

The credits got cut.
The battery is the fix.

Until 2025, exported solar in Illinois earned 1:1 retail credit on your bill. New Ameren customers now get credited only against the supply and transmission portion, not the delivery charges. Solar sent back to the grid is worth a fraction of what it used to be, and there is roughly a $300/kWh battery-storage rebate available on top.

That is why every SOLRITE system in Peoria ships with a 60 kWh Duracell battery. Excess solar charges the battery instead of being exported. Your home runs on stored solar in the evening at the full retail equivalent, and the battery's VPP revenue covers the equipment cost.
